Enchong Dee insists he and Julia Montes are not yet officially a couple despite rumors that they have split up.

“In terms of personal, I don’t think there’s something to end. Wala namang natapos and we’re okay,” Enchong said at the press conference of “The Strangers” on Sunday, December 9.

Busy schedules

He admits that their busy schedules are taking a toll on their relationship.

Enchong shared that he and Julia are “doing good together,” but admits  their relationship is no longer what it used to be.

Julia, who also stars in “The Strangers,” just came back from Europe. The two did not see each other when Julia was abroad.

“I have to be honest na after ng US tour namin, she flew to Europe for three weeks and went back. Ngayon lang kami halos nagkita,” he said.

Enchong revealed that his love and admiration for Julia has not waned even if time is not working in their favor. But he’s not giving up.

“Tingnan natin.

Julia left it all up to Enchong if he still wants to pursue her. But Enchong believes things must also work both ways.

Is love life taking a backseat in his life?

“Siguro.

Despite his busy schedule, Enchong feels blessed with his career and personal life.

Siyempre, may percentage lahat iyan. Pero, mas nananaig yung masaya.”

Away from his comfort zone

His director, Lawrence Fajardo, is pleased Enchong left his comfort zone to be deglamorized in “The Strangers.”

“The Strangers” also stars Janice de Belen, Cherry Pie Picache, JM de Guzman and Enrique Gil.
