Sunshine: Cesar is a good father

Sunshine Cruz vows to work hard for her three daughters

Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano may still have marital issues. But when it comes to being a father, Sunshine has no complaints about her husband.

"He's a good provider and really generous. As a father, hindi ko ipagdadamot sa kanya ang anak ko. Anak niya din iyan at napakabuti niya sa mga anak ko," she said at the press conference of her comeback teleserye, "Dugong Buhay" on Wednesday, April 3.

Open communication lines

The children stay with Cesar whenever Sunshine tapes  her new drama. They also keep  communication lines open for their kids.

"For now, I don't know. Only God knows.

She added that “Dugong Buhay,” based on a story by Carlo J. Caparas, comes at the perfect time for her because her daughters are now grown-up.

I feel blessed na sa dami ng pwedeng piliin for this role, I was chosen. Grabe yung pag-aasikaso nila sa akin," she said.

"Dugong Buhay," directed by Toto Natividad and Mikey del Rosario, also stars Ejay Falcon, Arjo Atayde, Nonie Buencamino, Christian Vasquez, Ronnie Quizon, Pen Medina, Lito Pimentel and Ana Capri.
