MANILA, Philippines - Sunshine Cruz is diving headlong into acting again. In fact, according to a report that appeared on interaksiyon.com, she is set to appear in a new TV series for ABS-CBN.

However, the actress herself is mum on the details concerning the project. She simply divulged that it will also involve her cousin, actress and pop singer Sheryl Cruz.

"I will portray the role of the wife at siya naman 'yung mistress. Hanggang doon pa lang ang pwede kong sabihin," said she.

The 35-year-old confessed that she is looking forward to working again, following a recent spat with husband actor Cesar Montano.

"Gusto ko na uli mag-trabaho. Gusto ko nang makampante ang utak ko. I just want to take care of my kids," she related.

Though seemingly non-committal about calling it quits with his husband of 12 years, Cruz disclosed that she is currently looking for a new place for herself and their three daughters.

"For now, that is what I want to do," she said. "Siguro pagod na akong ma-stress. It's not doing me any good."

She revealed that their respective lawyers are already in discussion. "Kaya hindi ko naman pwedeng idetalye ang mga kailangan naming gawin," she explained.

The couple's troubles made headlines in January following several intriguing tweets that Cruz posted on Twitter and Instagram.

Though Montano initially met the controversy with silence, he eventually admitted during a recent press conference that his marriage with Cruz is not without "problems" lately.

Cesar Montano (NPPA Images)On Wednesday, Cruz tweeted, "Too much blah blah blah suddenly. Ikaw na!;)"

She later on added, "Never confuse fiction to a nonfiction, left and right esp. the difference between the truth and a lie."
