Years of good behavior at work are paying off for Ryan Agoncillo. GMA-7 and TV5 are interested in getting him as a contract artist. And now that his wife Judy Ann Santos has signed up with ABS-CBN, people are wondering if he will follow suit.

TV executives take note. Ryan says his loyalty doesn’t belong to any station. It belongs to his work.

“Kung  saan ang magandang trahabo doon ako. If someone comes up with an offer that is beneficial to me, okay,” he said in an interview before the premiere of "Ano ang Kulay ng mga Nakalimutang Pangarap?," where he plays the youngest of three siblings.

It was Ryan’s first time to leave the house after a bout with dengue so he and his manager, Noel Ferrer, haven’t had the chance to meet with TV networks.

Good prospects

The prospects look good.

TV5 executive Wilma Galvante said the network wants Ryan back. Is he biting?

“Malaking consideration ang working conditions. Maganda na kasama ang Talentado family na nakasama ko for five years. Kasama ko sila ‘Philippine Idol’ days pa.”

Ryan agrees that the award-winning show deserves to take a break, and must start on the right foot if ever it returns on air. And it doesn’t matter whether he’s the host or not. The show has Ryan’s all-out support.
