Judy Ann remains a Kapamilya
Judy Ann Santos finally ended all speculations about a network transfer by renewing her exclusive contract with ABS-CBN on Wednesday, September 11.
Judy Ann’s longtime manager Alfie Lorenzo told Yahoo! Philippines OMG that the actress’ contract is good until 2015.
He added that loyalty prevailed for Judy Ann, who has been with ABS-CBN for more than 20 years.
The teleserye queen recently finished the drama “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala,” which also starred KC Concepcion and Sam Milby.
Judy Ann is set to host ABS-CBN’s upcoming American franchise game show “Bet On Your Baby.” She is also set to do a drama series, a movie and another reality show.
Judy Ann hosted the Pinoy editions of "Junior MasterChef" and "MasterChef."
At the finale press conference of “Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala,” Judy Ann turned emotional as she revealed that she needed time to reflect on her next move and career plans. She reportedly got offers from other networks, but said that “doors for ABS-CBN will always be open.”
“Offers from other networks, yes, nandiyan sila but at the end of the day ako pa din ang magde-desisyon. Baka kailangan ko lang mag-isip at magpahinga. Masyado lang ako sigurong napagod sa mga bagay-bagay but 'yung pagod na 'yon was really well worth it. Siguro part ng pagod na iyon is the fact na kailangan mong mag-mature as a person. May mga bagay na kailangan mong isipin,” she said.
