Sarah Geronimo’s new admirer
Singer and self-confessed ‘popster’ Bryan Termulo admires popstar princess Sarah Geronimo and wants to get to know her better.
He says that he collects Sarah’s albums and watches her movies and TV shows.
Pleasant surprise
Bryan was surprised to find out that his idol knows him when he guested on her defunct Sunday show “Sarah G. Live.”
“Hindi ko akalain. Iniisip ko kilala niya ako sa mukha, puwede iyon, eh. May mga artist na kilala ka sa pangalan, pero sa mukha hindi. Noong sinabi niyang, ‘Oh, Bryan,’ sabay beso sa cheek, kilig lang. Sobra akong masaya that day kasi kilala raw niya ako,” Bryan said at the press conference of his first concert, “Bryan Termulo XXV,” to be held at Music Museum on Saturday, March 9.
Aside from Sarah, Bryan would like to invite Regine Velasquez to his show. Regine used to host “Pinoy Pop Superstar,” where Bryan was a finalist. “Naghahanap ako, pero hinahanap ko kung sino ang dapat kausapin (to invite Sarah). Pero meron talaga akong kilala para gawin iyon. Marami talaga akong iimbitahang mga espesyal na tao sa buhay ko, like si Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcasid kung matutuloy. Si Sarah nga kung matutuloy,” he said.

Does Bryan plan to pursue Sarah?
“Hindi muna ako doon sa popormahan. Gusto ko lang malaman talaga yung hobbies niya, kung ano yung routine niya sa buhay. Kung tatanungin ako kung gusto ko siyang makilala, yes. Gusto kong malaman yung mga likes niya at mga hindi niya gusto. Gusto ko siyang kilalanin at lahat ng mga tao sa paligid niya,” he said.
Bryan is known as the the "Prince of Teleserye Theme Songs" because of his hit teleserye songs “Dadalhin” from “Walang Hanggan,” “Bihag” from “100 Days” and “Isang “Sulyap” from “Juan Dela Cruz.”
“Napakasaya. Parang title ng pangalan. I feel so blessed and overwhelmed. Bibihira sa isang singer na magkaroon ng ganoon. Hindi siguro makikilala si Bryan kung hindi sa mga theme songs,” he said.
Opening doors
The songs have opened doors for acting projects and a solo concert for Bryan.
“Kung sa progress lang, sobrang napakalaki ng progress ko when it comes to popularity, hits ng songs ko, yung talent ko po, sobrang thankful ako kasi talagang nakita ko yung transformation ko simula ng pumasok ako sa ABS-CBN. Sobrang laki ng pagbabago kaya lagi akong thankful.”

Nervous and excited
As the concert nears, Bryan feels nervous and excited at the same time.
“So habang nandiyan pa at habang may bago akong teleserye theme song, bakit hindi natin bigyan ng patikim yung mga followers sa isang concert? Doon ko rin malalaman on how far na talaga. Kung mapuno man iyon, it means somehow na na-establish ako kahit papaano sa mga songs na binigay sa akin ng ABS-CBN,” he said.
