Sarah G Live bids farewell

Sarah Geronimo's Sunday musical variety show "Sarah G Live" will be having its final episode on Sunday, February 10.

In a press statement released by ABS-CBN's Head of Integrated Communication Bong Osorio, the popstar princess will take her post as one of the judges of "The Voice of the Philippines." The singing contest will be hosted by Toni Gonzaga.

Sarah is also filming the movie "It Takes a Man and a Woman" with John Lloyd Cruz.

The complete statement reads, "SARAH G Live” ends on top of its game with its last episode airing on Sunday, 10 February 2013. After a year of bringing world class performances to Filipino viewers here in the country and in TFC markets around the world, Sarah Geronimo moves on to fulfill other commitments. The pop star, who recently renewed her contract with ABS-CBN, will sit as one of the judges of “The Voice of the Philippines,” and will soon have her own drama anthology. Sarah is also busy filming her upcoming Star Cinema movie with John Lloyd Cruz."

A reliable source from Sarah’s camp says the singer is both happy and sad at this new development in her career. While she is sad that the show must end, Sarah also wants to explore more avenues as an actress.
