Jasmine Curtis-Smith doesn’t want to get involved in her ate Anne Curtis’ most recent controversy at a posh bar, where she figured in a slapping incident with some of the guests.

“Hindi naman ako 'yon.  I don’t want to know about it,” her manager,  Betchay Vidanes quoted Jasmine.

The Flawless endorser would rather focus on her college studies and her work.

She vows to drop everything if ever “Transit,” her indie film and the Philippines’ representative to next year’s Oscar awards, makes it as one of the official nominees.

“Papalampasin ko pa ba yon?” Jasmine, who won Cinemelaya’s Best Supporting Actress award for the film said at the press conference for National Flawless Month, said.

Anne Curtis’ younger sister has been busy, not just with school (she’s a Communication Arts student at the Ateneo de Manila) but in charity work as well. Last November 30, she joined friends in raising funds for victims of super typhoon Yolanda in the university’s Loyola campus.

She also wanted to join a charity event for Caritas Manila, but her busy schedule didn’t permit her to.

Indie film with Nora

She is also looking forward to starting 2014 with a bang, via the indie film “Dementia,” topbilling Nora Aunor. It will be another acting piece for Jasmine, who plays Nora’s daughter in the movie.

Meanwhile, Jasmine is looking forward to spending Christmas with her family, but she doesn’t know if she will stay in the Philippines or fly to Australia.

“We’re still finalizing our plans. I hope makakauwi ang mom ko.  She must be careful because she just had a knee operation.   She must not engage in very tiring things.”

If her mom can’t travel yet, Jasmine says she will fly to Australia to be with her and the rest of the family this Christmas.

Jasmine adds that their Christmas will be simple. Dinner with the family and Mass together are enough.
