Comedienne Ai-Ai delas Alas apologized to President Noynoy Aquino after his name was dragged in her legal spat with estranged husband Jed Salang.

PNoy allegedly meddled in the case Ai Ai, a close friend of his sister Kris Aquino, filed against Jed. Presidential spokesperson Edwin Lacierda reportedly denied that PNoy interfered in the case and said that the President has more important issues to attend to than Ai Ai’s marital woes.

Mali iyon,” Ai-Ai said at the press conference of the upcoming comedy movie “Kung Fu Divas” in ABS-CBN compound on Friday, September 20.

Nakakatawang nakakaasar.”

Kris’ love life

Ai-Ai even cited Kris’ love life as an example.

It was Jed’s lawyer who allegedly accused the President of meddling in Ai Ai’s case.

“Next time na magsasalita sana yung lawyer niya, sana isipin niya na yung kliyente niya ay may gag order. Na lahat kami ay may gag order. Anytime, hindi kami puwedeng magsalita,” Ai Ai said.

She also clarified that her boydyguards are not from the Presidential Security Group, but are Philippine National Police personnel, whom she pays out of her own pocket.

While she is very close to Kris, Ai-Ai clarified that she doesn’t ask  her for help regarding her legal battle.

Friendship is enough

Ai-Ai said Kris’ friendship is enough for her.

Meanwhile, Ai Ai has turned producer again, this time together with Kapuso star Marian Rivera in the comedy movie “Kung Fu Divas.” Ai-Ai was all praise for Marian, whom she refers to as “Baby Girl.”

“Araw-araw meron akong pasalubong.

The award-winning comedy actress said Marian is a natural comedian.

“Kung Fu Divas,” which also stars Roderick Paulate, Nova Villa, Bianca Manalo and Edward Mendez, opens in cinemas on October 2.
