Brown Eyed Girls announces comeback…finally

The Brown Eyed Girls, one of K-Pop's top girl groups who spearheaded the Hallyu wave, has finally announced their comeback plans. Fans of Narsha, JeA, Miryo, and Ga In have been waiting two years for the girls' musical comeback. Rumors and reports about Brown Eyed Girl's comeback started circulating late last year but no official comeback have been made. This has already caused some level of frustration among their Korean and international fans.

It was reported in Yahoo! Philippines OMG! that the Brown Eyed Girls are known for their "perfectionist" approach to music and choreography which is perhaps the main reason why it took them two years, an eternity in the music industry, to make a comeback. During these past two years, fans of the Brown Eyed Girls were only able to enjoy solo releases from Narsha and Ga In while another member JeA had some Thailand promotional activities. Still, the Brown Eyed Girls were never forgotten specially with the successful virtual marriage of member Ga In to 2AM's Jo Kwon who were tagged as the "Adam or Petite Couple" in the popular Korean reality series "We Got Married".

Well, the wait is finally over as Nega Network, the Brown Eyed Girls' management, announced that the group will be releasing their new single on September 16 and their fourth album on September 30. This is a very exciting development as other superstar girl groups like Girls Generation or SNSD and KARA are slated to have their comeback within the same period. From the looks of it, it seems that September 2011 will become a month of the "Battle of the K-Pop Girl Groups".

In the meantime, let's revisit and enjoy the music of the Brown Eyed Girls. Here's the video to their biggest K-Pop hit "Abracadabra".
