Weeks after his contract with TV5 has expired, the Kapatid network wants to negotiate  a new contract with Ryan Agoncillo.

The network’s  Chief Entertainment Content Officer Wilma Galvante announced this to the press in the presence of TV5 president Noel Lorenzana.

“Hindi namin napakita ang new programs sa kanya. Hindi natuloy ang pag-uusap kasi nagkasakit siya (he had a bout with dengue),” she said.

Galvante added that Ryan’s reality show, “Talentadong Pinoy,” which wrapped up weeks ago, will return for a new season, contrary to what was previously reported, when Ryan lamented the supposed cancellation of the program.

“Talentado was not axed.  It will come back with a new season, hopefully with Ryan.”

She added that Ryan and wife Judy Ann Santos are slated to do a project under the Kapatid network’s movie arm.  But the network, says Galvante, has not offered Judy Ann a TV contract

The talk show “Face to Face,” admits Galvante, did fold up.  Its main host Amy Perez will be back, this time with Gelli de Belen in a new show with a similar mass-based format.

So long, Willie!

But Willie Revilame’s noontime show “Wowillie” will end, Lorenzana.  His contract will not be renewed.

“If Willie comes back, it will be under new circumstances, a new format, and that’s a big if.”

The TV5 executive is not yet sure what show the network will field to replace “Wowowillie” in  October.  The new show must be strong enough to compete with GMA 7’s “Eat Bulaga,” which has been lording over the noontime slot for decades.

Although his twin brother Richard Gutierrez doesn’t have a TV 5 project, Raymond Gutierrez does.  Galvante says she herself personally talked to Raymond’s mother, Annabelle Rama, about  the talk show “Showbiz Police”  (Wilma and  Annabelle have agreed to end their long-running legal feud).
