Sarah Geronimo is inspired to do a fourth Miggy-Laida movie, now that her latest team-up with John Lloyd Cruz, “It Takes a Man and Woman” has become a big box-office hit.

“Gusto ko pong ulitin lang yung sinabi ni John Lloyd na kung makaka-come up kami with a better script doon sa ginawa namin sa “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” why not ‘di ba?,” Sarah said at the press conference of the singing reality contest “The Voice of the Philippines” at the ABS-CBN compound on Friday, April 12.

Reporters were told at the press conference that  the movie has reached the P300-M  mark, making it one of Star Cinema’s most successful films.

“Kasi maganda na namin siyang natapos. Ang ganda na ng love story ni Miggy and Laida, kinasal sila. They have their happy ending together. Naniniwala ako na magagawa pa namin kung may mas maganda pang material doon,” Sarah said.

Sarah would also like to do another movie with John Lloyd apart from their rom-com movie franchise.

“Ayaw ko ma-stuck kami sa franchise na iyon, para (rin) magkaroon kami ng growth. Ma-experience pa rin naming yung ibang genres.”

Sarah and John Lloyd’s supposed kissing scene in the movie – a first for the Popstar Princess --  was also much talked about. While some think  their lips didn’t really touch, Sarah said it’s all a matter of opinion.

The movie only shows how  comfortable Sarah and John Lloyd are with each other.

Sarah was referring to John Lloyd when she said,  “Sobrang pwede ko siyang i-kiss ng walang malice.”

She is happy to know that John Lloyd’s girlfriend, Angelica Panganiban, is a big fan of their love team. Angelica even tweeted that she enjoyed watching their recent movie.

“Nasabi niya sa akin na natapon pa daw popcorn niya sa kilig habang pinapanood niya yung “A Very Special Love.” That’s a good thing. I’m a fan of Miggy and Laida, as well,” Sarah said.

She agreed with  Angelica who said that  she (Angelica) has no reason  to feel jealous of the Sarah-John Lloyd team-up.

“Totoo naman. I have so much respect for Ate Angelica Panganiban. For a time naging close kami. Hindi nga lang talaga yung physically nagkakasama kami. Nagkaka-exchange kami ng text messages noon. Vina-value ko iyon up to this day.”

Team Sarah in 'The Voice of the Philippines'

Sarah  is looking forward to being one of the mentor-judges in the “The Voice of the Philippines,” together with Lea Salonga, Apl.de.ap and Bamboo. As a product of a singing competition, Sarah has a lot to share with the contestants.

“Ako po ay dumaan sa ganitong proseso at I'm sure marami akong mare-relate sa kanila. I'm excited kung ano ang maibibigay ko sa kanila o 'yung maibibigay namin sa isa't isa, 'yung pagtutulungan namin para makamit ang “The Voice of the Philippines” title,” Sarah said.
