A tearful Sarah Geronimo bid farewell to viewers as the curtains fell on her musical variety show “Sarah G Live” on Sunday night, February 10.

Sarah shared that she has learned and experienced many things in the year-old show, which she considers home.

This entire experience and blessing has definitely made me stronger, braver and wiser.”

Sarah also shared how she always had to give her best even if she had to grapple with personal problems.

Self-control

“Natutunan ko po ang self-control. Pero pagpasensyahan niyo na po kasi before the show started sinabi nila na ‘Sarah just be yourself.' Sinubukan ko pong magpakatotoo,” Sarah told guest co-host John Lloyd Cruz.

Sarah thanked viewers and fans for their support and for accepting her as a performer and new host.

After thanking the staff and crew, “Sa mga nanakit sa akin, thank you, pinagkakakitaan ko siya. Effective!”

Sarah sung Kelly Clarkson’s “Breakaway” for her ‘statement song.’

She is slated to be one of the coaches of the singing reality contest “The Voice of the Philippines.”

Sana samahan niyo pa rin ako as I explore and discover new things and move on to another phase in my life. As the new journey begins, sana samahan n’yo ako.”
