Robin still finds it hard to accept BB

Has Robin Padilla accepted the fact that his older brother Rustom Padilla now prefers to be called BB Gandanghari?

“Darating tayo diyan isang araw, sa ngayon hindi kami okay ni Rustom,” Robin said at a press conference for his newest endorsement, Moneygram, at Crowne Plaza on Wednesday, March 21.

Robin emphasized that he and BB are different in their beliefs and the path they choose to take.

‘State of shock’

Robin admits his family is still “in a state of shock” now that that BB is back in town and sporting a totally different look.

It is his wife, Mariel Rodriguez, who is trying her best to unite the family by planning a reunion.

Gusto niya magsama-sama kami,” Robin revealed.

He added that his wife is very close to his mother, Eva Carino, who always confides in Mariel.

Lahat kami nasa state of shock pa. Lalo na ako,” Robin quipped.

In defense of Bela

Robin also defended niece Bela Padilla from detractors who said the March issue of the FHM magazine she posed as cover girl in, is racist.

As Moneygram’s newest ambassador, Robin is also slated to visit other countries to promote the money remittance system to OFWs. He assured everyone that it won’t affect his work. Robin might also grab the oportunity to film scenes for his new movie, “Ping Lacson Story.”
