Park Tae Hwan was Hurt by Female Celebrities
Appearing as a guest on SBS’ Healing Camp, Olympic swimmer, Park Tae Hwan shared that he was hurt by celebrities in the past.
On June 3, Park Tae Hwan came out on the talk show, spewing of jealousy with MC Han Hye Jin’s upcoming marriage with his best friend and soccer player, Ki Sung Yueng. Park Tae Hwan eventually began talking about his past relationships, making Han Hye Jin ask about what kind of girls he likes and if he would mind having celebrity girlfriends.
Slightly hesitant, Park Tae Hwan said, “I have really bad memories of female celebrities.”
When asked why, Park Tae Hwan replied that when he won the gold at the Beijing Olympics, so many female celebrities surrounded him.
“But when my performance dropped in 2009, all these people slowly disappeared. I was somewhat hurt from that. The people who used to contact me stopped, and even when I contacted them first, they wouldn’t respond.”
Park Tae Hwan said ever since then, he built up a shield against female celebrities, making MC Lee Kyung Kyu apologize for all the female celebrities.
