Fans rally to push faves to top; stars retweet votes
Today, Thursday, June 28, is the last day you can cast your vote for your idols in the second annual OMG! Awards. Voting ends at 11:59 p.m.
The last minute push of fans can make all the difference.
In the Best FM Radio Station category, a surge of votes had WLS FM 97.1 taking the lead at 37%. Before that, the top spot was held by Love Radio 90.7. Today it falls to second place at 34%.
Nominees like Luis Manzano have also taken to retweeting posts of fans who announce that they’ve voted. Also helping Luis rake in the votes are fans of his girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado.
The campaigning and support seems to be working. Luis dominates the Favorite Male TV Host category with 33% of the votes, leaving stalwarts like Vic “Bosing” Sotto in second place at 28%.
So, a lot can still happen until voting ends at 11:59 p.m. tonight, June 28, 2012. Rally behind your favorite stars for the win!
