Derek Ramsay admits relationship with Cristine Reyes

Yes, oh yes! Derek Ramsay and Cristine Reyes are officially a couple!

Without any hint of hesitation, the actor himself confirmed the news in a phone interview with Yahoo! Philippines OMG!

"Yes, we've been on for one day," he said. (Mark your calendars! August 28 is the date!)

Cristine's recent Instagram post says it all.

The actor who admits he's very much inspired nowadays previously said in interviews that after his failed relationship with Angelica Panganiban, he will no longer date someone from showbiz. He has clearly changed his mind.

On Wednesday, August 28, Cristine tried to keep mum when asked about the status of her relationship with Derek.

“Hindi ko pa alam kung paano sasagutin iyan sa ngayon. Dahil gusto ko kung magsasalita ako, yung sure na. Gusto ko yung sigurado na talaga,” Cristine said.

Cristine, tried so hard not to spill the beans but perhaps, her emotions got the better of her.

“Same pa rin. Single pa rin ako. I don’t know. Nagi-entertain. Nagsisinungaling lang ako, please. I-delete niyo iyon,” Cristine playfully told the press.

Derek revealed that after Cristine's press conference, they both agreed that it's okay to share the news to everyone.

The new couple have been friends since they did the movie “No Other Woman” in 2011. While Derek has been linked to other girls, Cristine and Derek often go out with friends.

“Hindi naman nawala eh (yung friendship). Parang consistent pa rin talaga ever since,” she said.


So what attracted Cristine to Derek you ask? “Pareho kaming baliw. Pareho kaming outgoing. Tapos family man siya, iyon yung pinakagusto ko sa kanya,” she said.

Hmmm... What could be their theme song then? "King and Queen of Hearts" perhaps? (Since they added king and queen to their social media names!)

Derek and Cristine are currently doing a movie "My Trophy Wife" under Viva Films.
