Criticisms on her look, accent hurt Charice

Charice

Charice admits being hurt over the way people have judged her so quickly because of her new looks and American accent.

Kumbaga isa rin po ako sa kanila,” Charice said in an interview on “The Buzz” on Sunday, December 2.

Still the same

Charice shared that she hasn’t really changed, despite her new hairdo and American accent and body tattoos.

Some people may not like Charice’s blond hair because they’re used to her long, black locks, but the international singer is very happy with her current looks

As for her American accent, Charice says it’s something she needs in her current situation, although she prefers to speak in a neutral accent.

Away from Twitter

The criticisms also kept Charice from using Twitter for months, especially during the time she was an “X Factor” judge

She also expressed disappointment over some press people’s comments that she was “disrespectful.” Charice admits that she sometimes doesn’t answer the press’  questions because she feels hurt.

Medyo na-feel bad po ako ako siyempre that time, masakit for me.”

Charice also belied rumors that she and her mother Raquel have a rift. Every mother and daughter experience tough times in their relationship, she explained.  But everything’s okay between her and her mom.

Finally, Charice thanked Filipino fans for always being behind her.

“I owe Filipinos big time because of their support. Kahit na minsan hindi nila iyon nafee-feel from me, sa puso ko, I owe you guys.”
