From her beautiful long locks, Charice has made various transformations by going blonde. She’s now sporting a short hairdo, reminiscent of K-pop stars. Others compare her hair to that of Daniel Padilla’s.
A photo of Charice sporting her new do went viral and abuzz online. The photo seems to have been taken in a campaign sortie where Charice was performing. She was wearing a blue polo with bow tie.

Her new style earned mixed reactions from netizens. While many disapprove of her new do, many defended Charice’s choice of hairstyles.
Senatorial candidate Teddy Casiño defended Charice, saying that it’s normal for the young ones to experiment.

Charice’s friend and music producer Troy Laureta also gave Charice words of encouragement.

Popstar princess Sarah Geronimo found it unfair for people to judge others based on looks alone.
“Kailangan natin irespeto siya sa pagiging artist niya. Hindi natin kailangan bigyan ng issue 'yung sexuality niya or kung anuman ang gusto niyang gawin sa buhay niya kasi hindi natin buhay iyon,” Sarah said in an interview on TV Patrol on Tuesday, April 16.

In an interview on “The Buzz” last year, Charice expressed disappointment over people criticizing her image.
“Yung pinakamasakit ‘yung jina-judge ako ng mga tao na hindi naman ako kilala. Especially yung mga tao na kilala na nga ako, jina-judge pa ako. Kasi para po sa akin, parang kilala niyo naman ako, hindi naman porket nagpalit ako ng buhok, hindi naman porket may tattoo ako sa katawan ko eh iba na ako. Hindi naman ganoon iyon.”
