Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. proud of Janine's 'awesome showing' at Miss Universe

Like most Filipinos, organizers of the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, Inc. which chose Miss Universe first runner-up Janine Tugonon to represent the country in the international pageant,  is immensely proud of  Miss Universe first runner-up Janine Tugonon, who is coming home from Las Vegas via PAL (Philippine Airlines) on Saturday, Dec. 22, at 5 a.m.

The pageant organizer’s press statement reads,

“We are elated with the awesome showing of newly proclaimed Ms Universe 2012 first runner-up Janine Mari Tugonon. Just like Shamcey, Venus, and Miriam, Janine showed the world the Filipina's innate beauty, substance and elegance. Janine's achievement mirrors her earnest preparations for the past seven months and determination to win.

“Congratulations Janine and we eagerly await your arrival. We are so proud of you!”

As of posting time, Tessa Mangahas, speaking for the Bb. Pilipinas Charities, says the pageant organizer has no specific program of activities yet to mark Janine’s homecoming.
