The year 2012 has been a momentous one for YouTube sensation-turned-recording-star Zendee and with Christmas just around the corner, she revealed that hers would have a good and a semi-bad side to it.
''...Hindi ko naman ine-expect na ganito ka-merry 'yung Pasko, na may pera na kami, na kahit papaano may kita na kami,'' the singer related unabashedly in an exclusive interview with Bulletin Entertainment recently.
However, along with this joyful transformation on her lifestyle came an aspect with which she's having quite a tough time reconciling.
''Malungkot kasi hindi ko kasama ang buong pamilya ko sa GenSan kasi 'yun po ang gusto ko eh, na mag-Christmas kasama 'yung pamilya ko kasi nakasanayan ko na po 'yon eh. Bale first time ko pong mag-Christmas na hindi sila kasama,'' said she.
But she quickly underscored that her family is all out in supporting her decision to spend Christmas in Manila to fulfill her other commitments, and to possibly enter new ones.
More Prosperous 2013
Although she enthusiastically noted how 2012 had become quite a ''lucky year'' for her, Zendee said she's already gearing up for hopefully an even ''luckier'' 2013.
Part of her making this coming year a lot better than the last would be to employ a few changes in her personality and lifestyle.
On top of the list is to maintain discipline when it comes to eating.
''Pagkain po talaga ang problema ko. Gusto ko po next year dapat eh payat na ako. Gusto ko pong ibalik 'yung katawan ko dati na 24 'yung waistline...para nakakasayaw na po ako,'' said Zendee.
As per the advice of her peers, Zendee revealed that she's raring to strip her naivety as well as her childishness.
''Mag-act na daw po ako as 21 years old kasi para daw po akong 15... dapat din daw tama lang daw 'yung kilos kasi exaggerated ako minsan.''
Lastly she said she would make it a point to be religious in taking care of herself physically, especially now that she's part of the industry.
