'Futurama' to be turned into a new mobile app game

Animated film Yogi Bear, television drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and comedy series Futurama were among the programs honored at this year's Environmental Media Awards on October 15 in Los Angeles. 

Held on Saturday, October 15, the 21st edition of the Environmental Media Association Awards honored entertainment programs across a number of categories that in some way conveyed a ‘green' or environmentally friendly message to the public.

Films, TV shows and series honored at this year's awards also included documentary Revenge of the Electric Car, HGTV Green Home 2011, Real Time with Bill Maher and Bubble Guppies

Actor and singer Justin Timberlake was among several celebrities honored at the EMA Awards on October 15 for their environmental work.

Later this week, on October 22, films with an environmentally positive message will also be honored at the One World awards, which take place as part of the Abu Dhabi Film Festival (October 13-22).
