Who keeps Chiz happy these days?
Sen. Francis “Chiz” Escudero is being linked to actress Heart Evangelista. They were even reportedly spotted together a number of the times the past few weeks.
But while the 42-year-old politician admitted going out on “meetings” with Heart, Chiz remains quiet regarding his private life.
“Bilang kinatawan sa Senado, ginagampanan ko ang tungkulin ko. At kung ano man ang lumabas… alam kong Chiz ang pangalan ko, pero wag naman akong i-tsismis,” he told the entertainment media during the press launch of Frabelle Foods.
Chiz added, “Ang pampublikong buhay, may kinalaman yan sa buhay ko sa Senado. Pero hindi sa may tinatago o may sinisikreto. Pero ano mang pribadong nangyayari sa buhay ko, pribado rin yun,”
Asked to describe the state of his heart, the senator replied: “Naghihilom.”
Showbiz ambitions?
He further said, “Sa pagdaloy ng panahon, siguro’y mabubuo rin at magkakalaman,” adding that his twin children, Maria Cecilia and Joaquin Cruz are his sources of joy right now.
Earlier this month, he confirmed the annulment of his marriage to Christine Elizabeth Flores.
As for presidential sister Kris Aquino, he said: “Mas malapit akong di hamak kay Pangulong Aquino kaysa sa kanyang kapatid na si Kris. Ngayon na lang kami nagkakasama o nagkakabonding ni Kris mula nung nagsimula ako na makasama siya sa kanyang show.”
Chiz, who appears as guest co-host in Kris’ morning talk show “Kris TV”, has been more visible on television lately. Is this an indication that he has ambitions of becoming a TV personality?
“Wala. Ito lamang. Nagkataon lamang na nagkasabay-sabay. Hindi naman namin plinano ito. Hindi naman naming hiniling o hinanap ito,” he said.
