[Video] FT Island Drops Teaser Video for Japan Single ′Polar Star′

FT Island had a big surprise in store for its Japanese fans.

The teaser for Polar Star popped up on November 5, and featured the FT Island members playing their shining instruments in a scene filled with light.

Polar Star is a medium rock single that sings of a man who stays in the same place just like Polaris does in the night sky.

The single has already been chosen to represent the late-night music show Music Dragon Gate and the comedy show Futtonda for November.

Polar Star will be FT Island′s ninth single album in Japan, and also contains Fallin′ for You, written by member Lee Jae Jin, and Beautiful World, written by Choi Jong Hoon.

About his self-written track, Lee Jae Jin said, "I wrote the melody after being inspired while I was playing my acoustic guitar, and it′s a song that depicts a man who isn′t able to get close to the woman he loves."

Choi Jong Hoon said, "I wrote for the first time a characteristic ballad with piano accompaniment, and that is Beautiful World. I wrote the melody while thinking of the lyrics, which describe how a man looks on at his lovely lover."

The full version of the music video for Polar Star will be released on November 28, the day the full album will be released.
