Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2012: the Angels have landed

New York City played host to Victoria's Secret models on November 7 in a big budget fashion show at the 69th Regiment Armory.

The lingerie brand's annual fashion extravaganza, held in New York City at the Lexington Armory, featured some of the world's most beautiful women soundtracked by pop's biggest stars.

This year's show included Victoria's Secret 'Angels' Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima (who only 8 weeks ago gave birth to a baby boy) and Alessandra Ambrosio among a cast of supermodel stars. Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Rihanna provided the music at the multimillion dollar bash.

Ed Razek, chief creative officer for the brand, explained the appeal to WWD: "Our show was the number-one TV show for adults in the U.S. last year for people 18 to 49 years old, and the number-one TV show for adult women ages 18 to 34. That's the target audience for a lot of advertisers".

Victoria's Secret has donated $1 million to help hurricane victims, and broadcaster CBS has also donated $1 million. The brand loaned the US national guard the use of their electricity generators during the power outages caused by Hurricane Sandy.

The full show will air December 4 at 9pm EST on CBS in the United States.
