USA′s SNL and SNL Korea to Collaborate Together

Already making it it an epic episode, NBC’s Saturday Night Live and tvN’s Saturday Night Live Korea will collaborate together in a special episode.

According to tvN on October 18, SNL contacted SNL Korea and suggested that they collaborate for its 40th anniversary special.

The two programs are currently in discussion on how to make this work with language barriers between the US crew and the Korea crew. Also the question of who will host the show is still up in the air.

However, as SNL’s 40th anniversary episode is scheduled for around September in 2014, there’s still plenty of time to sort things out.

SNL kicked off in New York in 1975 as a late-night live television sketch comedy program with a different celebrity host each week. SNL Korea premiere in 2011.
