KBS 2TV upcoming Wed-Thus drama 'Jeon Woo Chi' is set to premiere very soon, and the production company recently revealed a set of photos of their female lead UEE on the filming site.
UEE plays the role of Hong Moo Yeon who is the lover of Jeon Woo Chi (Cha Tae Hyun). She gets struck down by black magic and becomes a living zombie devoid of feelings. To portray the icy cold maiden character, UEE put in a lot of effort to make it realistic. Regardless of leaving her black hair behind her back while sporting a red hanbok while in deep thought, or wearing a blue dress with an icy expression on her face while looking afar, UEE was able to bring out her elegant charms.
Filming for the scene was completed at the filming site in Gyeongsangbuk-do, where UEE acted out the scene with co-star Lee Hee Jun. UEE who has an outgoing personality joked around prior to filming with Lee Hee Jun, but once cameras started rolling, UEE flipped the switch and became icy maiden Hong Moo Yeon. Besides having to say her lines without any emotions, UEE also had to portray a look of being bewitched, focusing on the minute details to perfectly depict the scene. As the director shouted 'cut' to end the take, a big smile immediately returned to UEE's face.
UEE also took on the role of mood maker on the set, eagerly greeting the cast members and production staff, leaving the whole filming set bustling with laughter. One staff expressed, "UEE is a very mischievous actress, and is totally different from the role that she is playing. But once the cameras start rolling, she will morph into Hong Moo Yeon. She really has put in a lot of effort in her role."
Meanwhile, the production company said, "No one other than UEE is suitable for the role of Hong Moo Yeon. She is passionate about acting, and infects everyone her with her energy. Please wait in anticipation for her all new transformation in the drama."
