Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has told her fans that she will invite some of them backstage at her Born This Way Ball concerts.

“Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive,” tweeted Lady Gaga.

Tweeps are joking that it is going to be a bloodbath in “The Monster Pit” as fans try and outdo each other in the hope of going backstage.

Argentinian fans of boyband One Direction are confessing their love for the group on the microblogging site.

It’s the annual Safer Internet Day and Tweeps are tweeting tips and linking to online resources to educate people about the dangers of being online. Microbloggers are also celebrating Rose Day by posting images of red roses and tweeting about their plans in the lead-up to Valentine’s Day.

Google is celebrating what would be the 200th birthday of celebrated writer Charles Dickens with a retro Doodle on its home page.

Microbloggers are naming 20 songs they love, discussing Jesus and God, and lamenting the death of Spanish abstract artist “Antoni Tapies.”

The hashtag “#shakedatass” is in fourth place and “JAEVON MyPhone” is in ninth position.
