Twitter index: National Kiss Day, Coachella music festival

Twitterers have declared today National Kiss Day and are sending their followers big virtual smooches.

Others are complaining they have no one to kiss or questioning why Tweeps are celebrating National Kiss Day today when it is typically celebrated in the UK on July 6.

“YouTube will be streaming weekend music festival Coachella live starting tomorrow,” say microbloggers who are keen to follow the annual music and arts festival starting Friday on http://www.youtube.com/coachella.

Tweeps are staying up late to confess their secrets and discovering their food porn name by combining the first dish they ordered on a date and the name of their childhood grocery store.

Microbloggers are defining what love means to them with the sixth place topic “What is love.”

Popular definitions included “Meeting someone who knows all your flaws and yet, still wants to spend their whole life with you,” “Being able to be yourself around that special someone” and “The hardest, strongest, most beautiful and infinite existence on the face of the Earth.”

Spanish speakers are talking about Friday the 13th with the Spanish term “Viernes 13” and asking their followers if they know that “Any month that starts on Sunday has a Friday 13 and every month beginning on a Thursday has Tuesday 13” (“SABIAS QUE: Todo mes que comienza en domingo tiene un VIERNES 13 y todo mes que comienza un jueves tiene un MARTES 13”).
