Microbloggers are reacting to the news that veteran footballer David Beckham will not be included in Great Britain's squad for the 2012 Olympics and celebrating "Caps Lock Day" on Thursday, June 28. 

On June 28, to the surprise of many, it was revealed that former England captain and current LA Galaxy player David Beckham will not be included in the Great Britain Olympic Football Squad managed by Stuart Pearce. 

Also on a football related note, Twitter users are sharing the news that Valencia's Jordi Alba will be transferring to rival Spanish club Barcelona following the completion of a medical.
