MANILA, Philippines - It has been a little over a year since the Nora Aunor last starred in a TV series. "Sa Ngalan ng Ina" may have won her this year's PMPC Star Awards for TV's Best Drama Actress nod but it seems the Noranians would need to wait a bit longer to see their idol star in a new show.

Aunor, who has since appeared in a couple of films and made guest appearances in some of the Kapatid network's TV shows, will be starring in "Never Say Goodbye" alongside "Artista Academy" winners Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert.

The reality show's Best Actor and Actress broke the news themselves in an exclusive interview with PEP posted on Nov. 21, adding that the series will be directed by Mac Alejandre. However, they weren't able to reveal any further information yet, explaining that they were informed of the project just recently and that a story conference is yet to be held.

Incidentally, Aunor mentioned in an earlier interview also by PEP posted on Monday that she is to star in a new "mini-serye" on TV5 that might be aired on January next year. She likewise begged off making any other revelations as details are yet to be finalized.

Until that time, however, Noranians would can see their idol on the TV5 series, "Enchanted Garden," where she plays a small yet relevant role as a fairy queen.

December, too, will be an exciting month for the Superstar. The restored version of her iconic film "Himala," which premiered at the 69th Venice Film Festival two months ago, will be screened at the Cinema One Originals 2012 that runs from November 28 to December 9, according to a separate article posted on ABS-CBNNews.com.

More, two films featuring the Superstar will be competing at the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival, namely the internationally-lauded "Thy Womb" by director Brillante Mendoza, where she plays a Badjao midwife; and "El Presidente" by Mark Meily, wherein she brings the role of former President Emilio Aguinaldo's second wife to life.
