Taylor Swift’s friends reportedly believe that her romance with Harry Styles “has tragedy written all over it.”
The American singer has been linked to the One Direction hunk after they were spotted flirting backstage at a US TV show last month.
The pair were seen taking romantic strolls around New York City and Harry has even introduced her to his family.
Apparently Taylor’s milieu is confident that their relationship will fail.
"Taylor calls him her boyfriend, but it's in the early stages," a source told Us Weekly magazine.
"It's the same Taylor story – it has tragedy written all over it."
Taylor has had a string of failed relationships with famous boyfriends, including John Mayer, Taylor Lautner, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas and most recently 18-year-old college student Conor Kennedy.
People close to the star believe she lacks dating skills.
"Taylor is love crazy and loves living vicariously through other people's love stories. She sincerely wants to find the person that she is supposed to spend the rest of her life with," a source revealed to Radar Online previously.
"But unfortunately, she thinks every man that gives her butterflies is that person."
