SNSD′s ′Love & Girls′ Rises Two Ranks to Arrive at No. 4 on Oricon

Girls′ Generation (SNSD)′s new single album Love & Girls has refused to settle for a no. 6 rank, as on the next day it rose to no. 4.

According to the Oricon Daily Chart for June 20, SNSD′s 7th single album Love & Girls rose two ranks from the previous day to land on no. 4. NMB48, EXILE and Super Junior′s Donghae and Eunhyuk remained in their places at the top three ranks, but SNSD very nearly chased them down with a surge in sales.

The day before, on June 19, SNSD had held a flashmob event at Universal Studios Japan with 4,000 fans, possibly affecting sales. Despite the bad weather, with rain pouring from the sky, the fans remained behind to dance the ′shampoo dance′ with the SNSD members.

SNSD will continue on its world tour by next performing in Taiwan from July 20-21.
