MANILA, Philippines-Celeb couple Sharon Cuneta and Sen. Francis Pangilinan has held a birthday party cum dedication for their adopted son, Miguel Samuel Mateo.

A report on "24 Oras" aired Oct. 29 noted the happiness on the husband and wife's faces at the event held Saturday. It took months before Sharon and Kiko finally "shared" their youngest child to the world, and at a grandiose party at that.

"That's why we have a big celebration kasi everything is in order. Lumabas na yung ruling ng court...he is now legally a Cuneta-Pangilinan," Kiko said of Miguel.

The couple's family and closest friends came to the bash in full force, some 200 of them in all. These included Miguel's godparents Ciarra Sotto as well as Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo. Godparents Manny and Jinkee Pacquaio were not able to attend as the prized pugilist was en route to the US that day for more training in preparation for his upcoming match.

Also in attendance were Sen. Tito Sotto and Helen Gamboa, whose presence shattered talk that Sharon is not on speaking terms with her.

Others celebs who came to the dedication were Louie Ocampo, Anthony and Maricel Pangilinan, actor-turned-QC Mayor Herbert Bautista and manager Angeli Valenciano.

The megastar is happy that everyone dotes on Miguel.

"Even the kids walang...they don't distinguish between biological and you know. Kapatid talaga nila si Miguel," Sharon said.

Now that Miguel is already three years old, Sharon said that having another young one is not a bad idea at all.

When kidded about the possibility of adding to the family, however, Kiko simply said: "We want to make sure na lahat sila eh binibigyan mo ng 110% time and attention."

The theme of Miguel's party was Thomas and Friends. It was held at the Blue Leaf Events Pavilion, Park Avenue, Mc Kinley Hill, in Taguig City.
