MANILA, Philippines - Heart Evangelista had an early birthday and Valentine's Day celebration in the US with her sweetheart, Sen. Chiz Escudero.
The trip served as the 43-year-old solon's gift to Heart, who turns 28 on Valentine's Day.

In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, the actress related that their US vacay was "very good."
"Gusto ko makasama niya 'yung mga kapatid ko sa States kaya pumunta kami doon sa San Francisco," Heart added.
She even posted some photos of their trip via her Instagram account, including the food they enjoyed.
They, however, had to return to the Philippines sooner for the election campaign, which kicked off Feb. 12. Chiz seeks reelection as a guest candidate under the Liberal Party (LP) and the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA).
In spite of Heart's celebrity status, the senator opts to leave her out of the campaign grind.
He was previously quoted to have said, "Mas pipilin namin na magkahiwalay pa rin ang mundo namin... Wala akong balak mag-artista, hindi ako marunong umarte, at gayun din siya sa larangan ng pulitika, wala siyang balak pumasok."
To those who continue to doubt the genuineness of their relationship, Sen. Chiz directed, "Kung sino man siya sana makilala ko siya."

"Hindi naman namin ipinagmalaki at ipinagmayabang pero hindi rin namin itinatago at hindi kami nagsisinungaling sa kung anong meron at wala kami," he added, dousing unrelenting questions about them settling down soon.
