Sarah Lahbati is back
Controversial actress Sarah Lahbati returned to the country on Thursday, July 11, with boyfriend Richard Gutierrez to face the libel charges GMA 7 Films president Annette Gozon-Aborgar filed against her.
“That’s why I’m here,” she told GMA 7 reporter Nelson Canlas at the airport.
Nelson told Yahoo! Philippines OMG! that Sarah, who is rumored to be pregnant, looked as slim as ever. In a report aired on July 12 on “Unang Hirit,” Nelson said that Sarah refused to entertain further questions and went straight to a waiting van, which the just-as-laconic Richard boarded shortly after.
Ruffa Gutierrez, Richard’s sister, defended Sarah in her tweet.

It will be recalled that Sarah left the country in January to take a six-month vacation in Switzerland, without reportedly getting permission from her mother network, GMA 7, where she is under contract until 2015.
On Friday morning around 9:30 am, Sarah accompanied by her mother and lawyer posted a PHP 10,000 bail before a Makati court.
