Sarah nominated in MTV Europe Music Awards

Just like her new single "Ikot-Ikot", Sarah Geronimo is making the rounds in the world scene once more. The Pop Star Princess is nominated in the Best Southeast Asia Act category in this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards (MTV EMA).

This is another addition to her string of international recognitions, which includes her win in 2012 MNet Asian Music Awards as Best Asian Artist (Philippines) and three nominations in the World Music Awards.

Sarah faces tough competition in Malaysia's Hafiz, Indonesia's NOAH, Vietnam's My Tam, Singapore's Olivia Ong, and Thailand's Slot Machine. Fans can vote for Sarah at MTV EMA’s official website.
 
The official MTV EMA page describes Sarah as Philippines’ Popstar Princess, who has “achieved achieved multiplatinum albums, record-breaking concerts, blockbuster movies, and high-rating TV shows.” It also mentioned Sarah’s latest album “Expressions,” as another “breakthrough.”

Also nominated in the MTV EMAs are Bruno Mars, Daft Punk, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Rhianna, Katy Perry, One Direction, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and many more.

MTV EMA will be held in Amsterdam on November 11. Meanwhile, Sarah will stage her tenth anniversary concert "Perfect 10" at Smart Araneta Coliseum on November 15.
