Rob Kardashian would most like to see Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld wearing his sock designs.
The brother of famous reality TV star Kim Kardashian has recently began a business manufacturing a line of socks for US chain store Neiman Marcus.
Rob revealed more about his fashion preferences while promoting the brightly coloured line Arthur George in Hollywood recently.
"In a dream world, [the person I would like to see wear my socks is] probably Karl Lagerfeld. That would be pretty cool. He probably doesn't wear socks, though. He's very Euro," Rob revealed to Racked. "[My favourite labels right now are] Givenchy, Balenciaga, Balmain, Lanvin and my friend started this company that's really dope, En Noir, his name is Rob [Garcia]."
Rob is pleased his debut into the footwear industry has garnered a positive reaction. It has shown him how passionate people are about the things they wear on their feet. Rob described his preference for socks, which he says serve to pep up his otherwise bland attire.
"I'm very picky about my socks. I'm very particular about all the little details. Nowadays, all my friends and athletes that I know are very fashion-forward and into that. Normally I wear all black so for me, socks are a way to spice it up," Rob gushed. "It's just starting [the sock line Arthur George] but the response has been all positive. A lot of people love socks. I've already made so many changes in packaging and length that I'm eager for those to come out. It is my first project so I'm learning and it's trial-and-error, but it's doing well."
Rob sees his company growing in the next five years and expanding into handkerchiefs or even pyjamas if his dreams come true. The can see his designs competing with renowned design labels such as Paul Smith in the near future.
"I don't want to compare myself to anyone else, but there's Paul Smith who I think does a great job. I feel like once I sort everything to the best quality, I'll be able to compete with them," Rob dreamed. "I mean, there really aren't too many sock companies. Eventually there will be pyjamas and probably handkerchiefs. You have to start small."
