After quitting as host of the morning show "Umagang Kay Ganda" and getting a Creative Writing degree at the Ateneo de Manila University, Rica Peralejo is focusing on being  a supportive wife to  Joseph Bonifacio, a pastor.

"That's my promise to him, that when I graduate I'm going to be with him kung kailan pwede at kung saan man siya magpunta. I'll be a supportive wife," Rica said.

Though it’s been years since they got married, Rica shared that they are not pressured to have kids since  they are patiently waiting for God's right timing.

"A lot of people are saying that we need to take some time off and rest. We'll see, we are not naman pressured, we just want it to be as natural as possible."

She added that she and her husband need to bond more often because they're always caught up with their busy schedules. So they make sure they  take  time off to date at least once a week.

"Dati wala kaming date night. But we figured na we get busier and busier as a couple that we really have to spend more time just to be with one another. No interruptions lang talaga. Sometimes we'll watch a movie or dinner somewhere. Basta magkasama kami."

Rica also revealed plans to  take up further studies next semester.
