Ralph Lauren has organised a rodeo to celebrate his son’s wedding.
The fashion designer will host the nuptials of David and his partner Lauren Bush at his ranch in Colorado this weekend. Lauren is the niece of former US President George W. Bush and Ralph has ensured the party will be lavish.
Saturday will feature a picnic and softball game for guests, with a rehearsal dinner in the evening. The nuptials are being staged at the ranch in the Rocky Mountain on Sunday, and will feature teepees and log cabins. The following day Ralph and his wife Ricky are putting on a rodeo.
“The dress code for the wedding is black tie with a Western twist, which fits in with the romantic surroundings and both families,” a source told New York Post.
Lauren has already confirmed she’ll be wearing a dress created by her soon-to-be father-in-law on the big day.
Around 200 guests have been invited for the weekend.
Lauren’s father Neil will be in attendance although her grandparents former American President George H.W Bush and First Lady Barbara Bush have had to decline. It’s thought the area’s altitude might be the reason why the couple cannot go.
Lauren’s mother Sharon is taking Prince Dimitri of Yugoslavia to the nuptials.
