International pop star Britney Spears got what she wished for― she has finally learned the infectious “Gangnam Style” dance craze from the sensational K-pop singer himself, Psy while guesting on The Ellen de Generes show along with X-Factor judge Simon Cowell.
Last August 29, Britney tweeted “I am LOVING this video. Thinking that I should possibly learn the choreography. Anybody wanna teach me?!”
Ellen Degeneres who has a knack for surprising her guests was just delighted to grant Britney's request. “You tweeted that you want to learn that dance, right? So, I got somebody here to teach you that dance,” Ellen told Britney before introducing Psy on stage.
Dressed in a dapper black suit, oxford shoes and his trademark sunglasses, Psy appeared on stage dancing his signature moves. “I’m Psy from Korea. How are you?,” was Psy's way of introducing himself.
“Gangnam Style” has earned the number one spot in Itunes and more than 143 million Youtube views and counting. Aside from appearing in US's talk shows and in the recent MTV Video Music Awards, Psy has also signed a record deal with Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun.
