Psy’s upcoming official cheer song for Korea for the upcoming London Olympics will be distributed entirely for free.

Korea is Korea’s official cheer song for the 2012 London Olympics and was composed and written by Psy in collaboration with Korea’s Ministry of Culture Sports’ Tourism and the National Gugak Center.

Following its release online on June 28, the song will be made available for free on various online music portal sites such as Mnet, Bugs, Melon, Soribada and more.

Lee Dong Bok, the director of the National Gugak Center said, “In hopes that many citizens will sing the official cheer song Korea while meeting many people from around the world in London, we are distributing the song for free.”

In 2006, Psy’s We Are the One, released in time for the World Cup in Germany, was also distributed for free and recorded five million downloads in 20 days.
