Piolo pleads for privacy in break-up with KC

After the much-talked about revelation of KC Concepcion about their separation, Piolo Pascual refused to comment about his former girlfriend’s tell-all, saying that they are going through a “very sensitive issue.”

KC revealed on ABS-CBN's “The Buzz” on Sunday, November 27, that she and Piolo have already ended their one-year relationship, saying that she tried to make their relationship work but she could not be the one that Piolo needs in his life.

Piolo used to be mum about the real status of their relationship despite the long-time speculations about their split. He now asks the public for privacy as he and KC are going through a hard time now.

Nothing else to say

“I don’t think I’ve anything else to say. KC has already said her piece. So, hayaan na lang muna natin doon kasi it’s a very sensitive issue. Hindi naman biro ang pinagdaanan naming dalawa,” Piolo said in an interview with “TV Patrol” on Monday, November 28. Piolo left for Japan the same day together with other ABS-CBN stars for a concert.

Piolo, who used to talk lightly about him and KC, appeared serious in the interview with “TV Patrol”. KC noted in her tell-all with Boy Abunda on Sunday how it offends her when Piolo would just joke around when being asked about him and KC.

“And then siya [Piolo], natatawa lang siya kapag nakikita kong ini-interview siya. Idadaan lang niya sa joke. Sa tingin ko, ‘Bakit ikaw ganyan, tapos ako ganito?’,” KC said in “The Buzz”.

Appeal to public

The actor and TV host also asked the public to let him and KC face their problem privately because, he said, it is harder for them if more people get involved.

“Hindi madali yung proseso, hindi rin madali yung maraming nakaabang, maraming naghihintay, nakikiaalam. So sa akin, hayaan na lang muna nila kami, lalo na si Kristina. It’s not easy,” Piolo said.

Meanwhile, KC’s mother, Sharon Cuneta, also said her piece about Piolo and KC. Sharon said that she believed KC can handle things she’s going through now.

“They’re adults so they know how to handle what’s coming their way. She’s stronger, she’s more aware now of the people and the things she should value more,” Sharon said in a separate interview on “TV Patrol”.
