Photographer Bori, Former ′Infinity Challenge′ Photographer, Passes Away

Photographer Bori, a renowned photographer who also previously appeared on MBC′s Infinity Challenge, passed away on April 8.

She had a stroke in late March and had since been staying in the hospital, but in the end she never recovered. She was 40 years old.

Bori appeared in MBC′s Infinity Challenge in 2010 for its 2011 calendar project, and also appeared in Onstyle′s Challenge! Supermodel Korea. Outside of TV, she shot photo spreads with such top stars as Lee Hyori and Choi Ji Woo.

Netizens have been showing their grief through social networks, commenting, "I can′t believe this, I still remember her appearance on Infinity Challenge. Rest in peace" and "I used to like her work.."

Those who had been close to the photographer also expressed their sorrow at the loss. Chun Jung Myung tweeted, "Director Bori. I still remember like it was yesterday how you always greeted me with a bright smile. I have so many good memories; I hope you′re happy in heaven. Rest in peace."

Model Hye Park tweeted, "I pray she′s happy in heaven. I held her warm hand just a week ago; I hoped she would recover. I can′t believe this. I hope she rests in peace."

The wake is taking place in Chung-Ang University Hospital.
