Paulo Avelino clarifies 'snob' issue

Paulo Avelino insists the good reviews from his breakthrough role as Nathan in “Walang Hanggan” has not turned him into a swellhead.

“I’ve always been the same. I’ve always been quiet. Medyo tahimik lang talaga,” he said at the press conference of the new Kapamilya teleserye “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” on Wednesday, January 9.

He believes some people just misunderstand him.

Paulo feels grateful many people accepted his dark character in “Walang Hanggan.”

A year after moving to ABS-CBN, how does he feel working with the Kapamilya network?

Still adjusting

“Medyo naninibago pa rin. Kasi parang ibang mundo ang ABS-CBN. Napakaraming tao, daming ginagawa. Kaunti pa lang rin ang nakikilala ko, pero I treat everyone as family,” he said.

Paulo’s light, fun role in “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” is the opposite of his character “Walang Hanggan.”

He enjoys working with his “Kahit Konting Pagtingin” co-stars.

“Sam is very friendly. Mahilig rin siya sa gadgets. We have things in common, so okay kami sa set. I find her very fun to be with, very natural umarte at masayahin on and off cam,” Paulo says.
