Park Shi Hoo isn’t as young as he claims to be

Having been charged by police for sexual assault against a trainee recently, Park Shi Hoo has now found himself in another controversy of falsifying his actual age.

The public profile of Park Shi Hoo showed his birth date as April 3rd, 1978. But this drew much suspicion as the birth date of his manager who is also his brother was listed as May 15th, 1978. It was impossible for them to be born in the same year and just one month apart from each another, and thus many are suspecting that Park Shi Hoo had falsified his actual age.

After some checks, Park Shi Hoo was revealed to be 37 years old, and his actual birth date was February 15th, 1977. Most have since deduced that because he had debuted at a later date than his peers, he felt some pressure regarding his age and thus decided to falsify his age in his profile.

Park Shi Hoo had appeared on SBS TV talk show ‘Healing Camp’ last December, where he talked vaguely about his actual age when asked about the hosts, and claiming that he wanted to live young before concluding that he was in his 30s.

The day before on February 18th, Park Shi Hoo was charged by trainee A for sexual assault. The trainee claimed that she had went for drinks with Park Shi Hoo before losing consciousness, and only realized that she had been sexually assaulted after waking up.

In the aftermath, Park Shi Hoo has denied all charges filed against him and said through a statement, “I got to know A through a mutual acquaintance, and we had drinks together recently. There were mutual interest on both parties, and I definitely did not force anything on her. Regarding this point, I don’t feel that I should be embarrassed about it in any way. The truth regarding this matter will be made known through investigations.”
