Months after expressing excitement over visiting the Philippines for the first time and upon meeting Manny Pacquiao, Paris Hilton has finally set her visit to the   Philippines on Aug. 13.

The hotel heiress’ trip to the country went abuzz online after Paris tweeted last August 2 that she will be going here for a few days. Paris sent the tweet to long-time Filipino fan Isha Dinio, whom she has been following for a year.

Filipino BFF?

Paris tweeted, “Hey @iamishagirl, I'm flying to Manilla, Philippines on August 13th for a few days. Would love to meet up while I'm there. Love you. xo P.”

She followed it with another tweet saying she’s excited to meet people in the Philippines.  The tweet carried a link of her official website, which shows her message to Dinio. Here, Paris expressed excitement over meeting Dinio. The Hollywood actress also tweeted about her gifts to Dinio, which were sent back to her (Paris’) house.

Paris says she herself will hand over the gifts to Dinio.

“So I'm just going to bring them with me to the Philippines and give you them when I see you. Thanks for being such a loyal friend and fan,” Paris’ message read.

Ruffa Gutierrez and Tim Yap have also tweeted about Paris’ visit to the country. Tim first tweeted with a teaser by asking ‘who’s hot’ will be coming to the country. Paris is known for her famous line, ‘That’s hot.’

As Paris did not say the purpose of her visit, many speculate that she’ll be discussing a business venture with Manny and his wife Jinkee. In a previous interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Paris said she would love to visit the Pacquiaos here.

Design Project

Real estate firm Century Properties revealed Paris will be coming here this month to do a project for Azure Urban Resort Residences.

An e-mail sent by GP Reyes of Century Properties to Yahoo! Philippines OMG said Paris will be its official ambassador and that she will be part of the creative and design team. She will be designing Azure’s Beach Club amenity, located at the southern part of Manila.

The press release quoted Paris as saying, “I will personally help design The Azure Beach Club, creating a unique and special place that will bring happiness to many people. I'm excited for people to experience it.”

Robbie Antonio, Managing Director of Century Properties said they chose Paris as ambassador because of her exposure to travel and rich experience in design. She also personifies an upscale, fashionable beachgoer. Aside from being a celebrity, Paris runs a beach club and a fashion empire with 17 product lines.

Paris will be coming to Manila to meet with the creative and design team, the press and her fans. The official Twitter account of Century Properties added that a meet and greet for fans will also be set.
