OMG! Awards winners thank voters

 Yahoo! users have spoken at the 1st Yahoo! OMG! Awards.

Now the awardees express their gratitude to their loyal fans who voted for them.

Kapuso actor and now "Amazing Male Newcomer" winner Alden Richards says he is "very thankful" to his GMA Network family and to his fans for voting for him.

“Di ko po ine-expect,” he says. “In a short span of time I got to receive an award from such a big name in the internet industry.”

He then went on to offer his award to his mom who passed away three years ago.

Kapuso actress and singer Jennylyn Mercado says she wasn’t expecting to bag the ‘Hottest Actress’ award at the first ever Yahoo! OMG! Awards.

She says, “Hindi ko naman ini-expect kasi mommy na ako. Sa tingin nila, OK pa rin naman (laughs). So iyon, happy ako.”

Kapamilya host and talent show judge Vice Ganda thanks his followers and even his haters after he wins as "Funniest Comedian."

“Siyempre masaya! Thankful, kasi marami nag-se-search sa akin sa Yahoo! kasi ang dami kong haters,” he says. “Sa mga bumoto sa akin, sa mga followers ko, maraming maraming salamat.”

Kapatid actress and "Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak" star Ritz Azul meanwhile romped with her first award as "Amazing Female Newcomer."

She says, “Sobrang thankful po ako. Ito ang first award ko lalo na first ever Yahoo! OMG! Awards ito. Sobrang thankful din po ako sa Yahoo! (at) sa mga bumoto sa akin para sa award na ito.”
