Months after her video scandal with boyfriend Chito Miranda shocked the nation, Neri Naig can now look back and think about the good it brought her.

Kasi may gawin ka man na maganda o may gawin ka man na hindi, you can’t please everybody naman,” Neri said at the story conference of TV5’s upcoming teleserye “Obsession.”

It was her first time to face the press after the scandal broke out and the video that sparked it went viral.

Instead of brooding about the controversy, Neri has turned it into something positive.

“Kasi sunod-sunod, hindi lang iyon. Marami ring nangyari.

The former Star Circle Quest contestant, who is making her acting comeback after years of being inactive, said she prefers quality over quantity where projects are concerned.

Neri plays a depressed character in “Obsession,” which  also stars Marvin Agustin, Bianca King and Alwyn Uytingco.
