Most blogged artists: Talking Heads, Fleetwood Mac

On Friday, September 21, the Hype Machine's most blogged artists chart features two old school bands -- Talking Heads and Fleetwood Mac -- thanks to modern reworkings of classic tracks.

1970s avant-garde group Talking Heads is causing a buzz on the blogs after the band's classic 1983 track "This Must Be The Place" received a re-working from US producer Viceroy. The re-working, available to download via Viceroy's Facebook page, "gives new life to a classic tune," according to Gotta Dance Dirty, while Stoney Roads states it "has hazy days and mojitos by the blow-up pool written all over it."

The second old-school outfit making a splash in the Hype Machine's chart is Fleetwood Mac, thanks to a remixing by San Francisco based producer Lane 8 of the group's much loved track "Go Your Own Way." "Nu Disco meets Classic Rock, and has a beautiful, beautiful baby" says The Get Downnn of the Lane 8 version; a "tasty rework," says LA. GA. STA.
